Vapour Blasting

Here at MX Engineering LTD we offer vapour blasting also known as wet blasting. It is a process that uses pressurized water and abrasive media to remove contaminants from the surfaces of components like engine cases and is especially good on aluminium.

The process involves mixing the abrasive media with water in a pressure pot, then propelling it through a blast nozzle after mixing it with compressed air. Engine cylinder cases typically look like new after this process removing all the staining and gives your engine rebuild, a new fresh look.
